Welcome to the 'Everyday Bordering' in the UK project

The 'Everyday Bordering' in the UK research project is based at the Department of Sociological Studies, at the University of Sheffield.

The research team are working with social care organisations supporting migrant families in the north of England. The broad aim of the project is to work with these organisations to understand how staff support migrant families, and the experiences of the migrant families that they support.

The study is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) New Investigator Programme. The support of the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) is gratefully acknowledged.
