During the 'Everyday Bordering in the UK' project,  local artists worked with migrant families in Hull to create 3 short films to document experiences of borders in their everyday lives. 'Communication Barriers' is the first of these film. 

In this film, 'Complexities of the Immigration System and Entitlement', migrant family members living in Hull - a city in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England - describe the ways in which the UK immigration system, and wider bureaucratic processes have impacted on them and their families.
