Between May 2020 – December 2021 the research team collaborated with workers and members of migrant families to:
understand the realities, and main issues for social care workers supporting migrant families.
understand the realities, and main issues for migrant families using social care services.
create ways to explore these experiences.
identify responses to these issues.
develop ways to share what is learnt with others.
The research team did this by spending time developing relationships and understanding how workers and migrant families communicate, and by organising creative workshops, focus groups and interviews.
